Medical Research and Marketing Manager

Position: Medical Research and Marketing Manager

Position reports to: General Manager MESI IBERIA 

Location: Madrid

Purpose of the Job:

Researching diagnostic needs in various cardiovascular diseases that MESI diagnoses with its equipment and preparing training sessions for professionals and sales teams. Increasing brand awareness of MESI and its diagnostic solutions among healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the research and development of diagnostic tests using our digital medical-grade tablet in different areas, such as the ankle-brachial index, electrocardiogram, spirometry, and other relevant tests.

• Design and conduct clinical studies and trials to evaluate the efficacy and accuracy of the developed diagnostic tests.

• Analyze and present collected data clearly and concisely, collaborating with the development team to iterate and improve test performance.

• Collaborate with health professional associations, academic institutions, and other external partners to develop new protocols to improve early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.

• Contribute to the development of user manuals and training materials for healthcare professionals and commercial teams on the proper use of diagnostic tests on our tablet.

• Collaborate with the sales team in various congresses, events, workshops and prevention days.
  
• Development of Marketing strategy and monitoring its implementation.

• Manage Marketing assistants

Requirements:

• Medical degree with a license to practice medicine.
• Previous experience in clinical research and study design, preferably in the field of diagnostic medicine.
• At least 5 years of experience in similar positions.
• In-depth knowledge of different diagnostic tests, such as the ankle-brachial index, electrocardiogram, spirometry, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate scientific data effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic start-up environment.
• Passion for innovation in healthcare and the use of technology to improve patient outcomes.
• High level in English is mandatory.
• Driver’s license.
• User-level in MS Office.
• Interest in new technologies, AI, etc.
• Willingness to travel around Spain and Portugal.
