You are kindly invited to join MESI at EASD 2024, taking place between 9 and 13 September 2024 in Madrid, Spain. EASD 2024 is the 60th Annual Meeting of European Association for the Study of Diabetes. EASD is an academic non-profit organisation, founded to support diabetes research, rapidly spread the latest findings in this field and to facilitate their application. At MESI, we are honoured to be able to mark this jubilee together with you. Visit us at Stand C10!
Why visit our stand?
Diabetes mellitus is a dangerous comorbidity and also has a negative impact on the diagnosis of various conditions, including Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). With the MESI mTABLET ABI, you can measure the Ankle-Brachial Index in minutes. ABI measurement is recommended especially in the following cases:
o Patients with metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes: they are 3 to 5 times more likely to develop peripheral artery disease (PAD).
o As prevention in non-diabetic PAD risk groups, e.g. people over 65 years of age. This is because many people with diabetes are undiagnosed.
o In case of ulcers or other changes on lower extremities, especially feet.
Conditions such as the diabetic foot prevent the Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) measurement; a Toe-Brachial Index measurement (TBI) is performed instead.
With the MESI mTABLET, both ABI and TBI can be performed on a single device. Other advantages of the MESI mTABLET system for diabetology include:
Follow the patient’s disease development and easily monitor their diabetes care plan – with comprehensive arterial assessment using the MESI mTABLET ABI and TBI! We look forward to showing you more at Stand C10!
