MESI is committed to revolutionising arterial assessment and advancing diabetic foot prevention. Join us on 13 September in Glasgow to explore how our MESI mTABLET diagnostic system can contribute to effective vascular health management in diabetics.

Why visit our stand?

Diabetes mellitus is a dangerous comorbidity and also has a negative impact on the diagnosis of various conditions, including Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). With the MESI mTABLET ABI, you can measure the Ankle-Brachial Index (an indicator of PAD) in minutes. ABI measurement is recommended especially in the following cases:

o Patients with metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes: they are 3 to 5 times more likely to develop PAD.

o As prevention in non-diabetic PAD risk groups, e.g. people over 65 years of age. This is because many people with diabetes are undiagnosed.

Please note: In case of PAD suspicion in patients with leg ulcers, further vascular examination should be conducted.
