The 13th National Congress of AISLeC (Italian Association for the Study of Skin Lesions) will be held in Padova from October 17 to 19, 2024. This important event aims to address the needs of professionals, patients, and caregivers involved in the care of skin lesions. This year’s theme is “Clinical Practice, Research, and Education to Meet the Needs of People with Skin Lesions.”
Additionally, MESI will be present as an exhibitor and will host a workshop titled “ABI, I’m Here Too!”. This session will focus on the importance of the Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) in evaluating vascular conditions and how new technologies can improve the accuracy and effectiveness of these diagnostic techniques.
October 18, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
The workshop aims to analyze the importance of the ABI index in wound care, considering it not only as an indicator related to bandaging but also as a prognostic indicator for other conditions. New assessment methodologies will be explained and analyzed, with practical case studies and perspectives from various care settings.
