Event: EWMA 2019 – 29th Conference of the European Wound Management Association
Date: 5th to 7th of June 2019
Place: Gothenburg, Sweden
Booth: B09:42
We are looking forward to this year’s EWMA Conference where we will be exhibiting our well-known 1-minute ABI measurement device – MESI ABPI MD – a must for all healthcare professionals working in wound care management who wish to provide proper wound treatment.
We will also use this opportunity to showcase our new product, the MESI mTABLET ABI: the next generation of Ankle-Brachial Index measuring devices that was designed with modern healthcare practices in mind.
At the conference visitors to our booth will experience for themselves how quick, easy and accurate ABI measurement is with our devices. Besides that, they will also have a chance to walk through the House of Blocked Arteries, which is a special exhibition dedicated to raising awareness of how important the first step in wound treatment is. All visitors to the House will be invited to take part in a prize-winning game with prizes for all participants.
This year, the annual Conference of European Wound Management Association – the EWMA – is moving to Gothenburg, which is one of the world’s most sustainable cities. The theme of the conference is: Person-centred Wound Care. Who is in Charge of the Wound? The reason why the European Wound Management Association chose this theme is that a wound is always a part of a person’s body. When a healthcare professional with specific competences works together with a patient, real progress can be made and real clinical knowledge can be developed. A person-centred wound care approach will therefore support the wound healing process and improve patients’ quality of life.
