You are kindly invited to join MESI at the Diabetes 2024 (Sladkorna bolezen 2024) medical training. It is taking place on 18 and 19 October 2024 in Velenje, Slovenia. Organised by the EDMED Association, this diabetes management event is dedicated to GPs, health education centres (centri za krepitev zdravja – CKZ), and medicine trainees in different areas of medicine. Join MESI and see how the MESI mTABLET diagnostic system can contribute to effective, long-term diabetes management!
Why visit our stand?
Diabetes mellitus is a dangerous comorbidity and also has a negative impact on the diagnosis of various conditions, including Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). With the MESI mTABLET ABI, you can measure the Ankle-Brachial Index in 1 minute. ABI measurement is recommended especially in the following cases:
o Patients with metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes: they are 3 to 5 times more likely to develop peripheral artery disease (PAD).
o As prevention in non-diabetic PAD risk groups, e.g. people over 65 years of age. This is because many people with diabetes are undiagnosed.
o In case of ulcers or other changes on lower extremities, especially feet.
Conditions such as the diabetic foot prevent Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) measurements; a Toe-Brachial Index measurement (TBI) is performed instead.
With the MESI mTABLET, both ABI and TBI can be performed on a single device. Other advantages of the MESI mTABLET system for diabetology include:
Follow the patient’s disease development and easily monitor their diabetes care plan – with comprehensive arterial assessment using the MESI mTABLET ABI and TBI!
