Tavčar days

The event is organised by the Division of Internal Medicine of the University MedicalCentre Ljubljana (UMCL). The company MESI is supporting the Electrocardiography lecture (lecturers Assist. Prof. Peter Radšel, MD and Prof. Dr. Dušan Štajer, MD), and holding a professional workshop on the topic of the Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI). Special emphasis will be on the importance of this measurement in all patients with cardiovascular risk factors. After a review of good practice in this field, we will demonstrate practical measurements with the MESI mTABLET ABI – a digital innovation that enables the measurement of the ABI in 1 minute. We will also discuss the contraindications for this diagnostic measurement and the Toe-Brachial Index (TBI) as a possible diagnostic method in this case.
