MESI is currently actively cooperating with over 50 partners all over the world. Once a company decides to start a cooperation with us, we offer them full support from our Sales and Marketing Team.
To make sure our partners can always access educational and support materials, we launched the MESI Partner Portal, which is a central online resource for all MESI partners. In 2018 we also launched the MESI Academy, a programme specifically aimed at offering initial and continuous education to our partners. Even though we put a lot of effort into improving our online resources, we still prefer to meet and talk to our partners in person! We got a chance to do this during the MESI Partner Conference, visits to their offices or at other events.
In this article, we chat with Nina Polak, our Partner Success Manager, about what it takes to keep our partners happy.
How would you describe your role at MESI?
I joined MESI in January 2018. Given my job description, my main focus is taking care of our partners, from managing the MESI Partner Portal to making sure their questions are always answered. In order to consolidate our educational content for partners, we decided to create the MESI Academy: a programme designed specifically with our partners in mind.
Can you tell us more about the MESI Academy?
The MESI Academy consists of three programmes – MESI Bootcamp, MESI Monthly Lectures and MESI My Market. MESI Bootcamp offers initial educational content in the form of short video lectures, and at the end of each lecture participants can take a quiz to make sure they have understood the content. MESI Monthly Lectures are a continuation of the Bootcamp – providing deeper knowledge about specific topics related to ABI, PAD or MESI devices. The third programme, MESI My Market, helps our partners explore their local market by using guidelines provided by MESI that stem from our international experience.
Are partners rewarded for their participation?
Yes. We prepared both small and big gifts to delight our participating partners. Participants successfully completing the MESI Bootcamp are rewarded with the MESI Starter Kit, a small gift that we hope will help them during their sales visits. It includes an ABPI MD notepad, which provides basic information about the device, a water bottle to keep hydrated on the go, and a tote bag for brochures.
For the MESI Monthly Lectures we created a real treat – the MESI Sock collection. Each month participants can receive a pair of MESI socks. The socks are very cute and feature tips for living a healthy and stress-free life. Also, by participating continuously, participants can win the grand prize – participation in the MESI Partner Conference.
What can you tell us about the MESI Partner Conference?
The MESI Partner Conference is an annual event which brings together MESI Partners from all over the world. It’s a chance for everyone to meet in person, get some useful information and enjoy the sights. The first Conference was held in 2018 and we hope to repeat its success this year. The 2018 Conference brought together approximately 45 participants and offered them lectures from 22 speakers over 3 days. The participants were also able to attend a Ljubljana walking tour, an evening reception at Ljubljana Castle and a half-day trip to the Slovenian coast.
Anything you can tell us about the 2019 Conference?
Yes: the planning is already well underway! We recently invited our partners to participate. The Conference will take place between 29th September and 2nd October. We hope to attract about 50 participants and will prepare an interesting educational and social programme for them. We will present new MESI products and projects, and offer points of view from medical professionals. We hope to once again delight and surprise the participants at every step!
