MESI mTABLET wins Medical Product of the Year Award at ANECORM Congress in Spain 

The MESI mTABLET emerged a winner as the Medical Product of the Year at the 16th ANECORM Congress in Málaga, Spain. Dedicated to purchasing coordinator nurses, the ANECORM Congress is an important national event featuring and celebrating advancements in health technology that make a difference to nursing. The award is bestowed on the most relevant medical product presented at the ANECORM Congress for the first time. The MESI mTABLET stood out as the winner in 2023! 

The MESI mTABLET diagnostic addresses crucial challenges faced by nursing staff, particularly in the realm of time efficiency. Time is saved by combining a great number of diagnostic measurements on one practical and portable device, such as the ECG, spirometry, pulse oximetry, different blood pressure measurements, the Ankle-Brachial Index, the Toe-Brachial Index, the 6-minute walk test, and others.  

The nurse can be guided through each exam by means of automatic protocols, which shortens the examination time. This makes the MESI mTABLET highly convenient for preventive exams, for example of groups at risk of Peripheral Arterial Disease. The Ankle-Brachial Index measurement with the MESI mTABLET only takes a few minutes compared to 30 minutes with Doppler. 

The MESI mTABLET diagnostic system fits into a small bag, which makes it a highly practical tool for nurses visiting chronically ill patients at their homes. The diagnostic measurement results can be immediately shared with the GP or specialist for time saving.  

The Medical Product of the Year Award at the ANECORM Congress is the latest recognition of the technological advantages and positive healthcare impact of the MESI mTABLET in Spain. It is worth mentioning, however, that the MESI mTABLET has met with considerable interest in in many parts of this country: 

• the MESI mTABLET has been used in community and national research at renowned Spanish institutions such as the Carlos III Health Institute (Instituto de Salud Carlos III) and UAM University (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid);
